We are delighted to announce we’re hosting a one-day, in-person Quality Improvement (QI) event on Thursday 7th December at Pride Veterinary Referrals.

Do you want to keep your patients and your team safe? Then this is the event for you.

Delivering eight hours of continuing professional development (CPD), this highly interactive event features talks from expert Clinical Leads, Pam Mosedale, Helen Silver-MacMahon and Lou Northway.

"No other comparable event offers this level of CPD in such a short space of time,” said Ashley Doorly, Head of Quality Improvement.

“The programme makes it a must-attend event for anyone working towards the Practice Standards scheme. It will be invaluable to help support you and your team to make practice even safer for your patients, teaching you new skills in a way that is fun and dynamic and giving you an opportunity to network with like-minded professionals."

The event will provide a plethora of practical knowledge, allowing you to look at how you can measure and improve outcomes and care, embed new systems to improve patient safety, and learn from everything that happens in your practice. Interactive sessions will look at the root causes of problems and demonstrate how to learn from successes, as well as when things go wrong.

Delegates will be able to take their learning to the next level, with a follow up virtual workshop, to assist with their individual projects and steer them in the right direction.

The event is open to all members of the practice team– including practice managers, to vets, nurses, client care teams and clinical directors. We invite you to bring the whole team along on the QI journey.

“I am really looking forward to a busy exciting day where together we look at improving care and outcomes for our patients and clients .

Most importantly this course will equip you with skills to use and share with your team the next day when you are back at the practice  - so your whole team can learn together.

We look forward to hearing on the follow up meeting all your exciting ideas for improvements,” said Pam Mosedale, FRCVS, QI Clinical Lead.
