Resources for Farm Vet Champions

As a Farm Vet Champion, we know you will already be promoting the responsible stewardship of antimicrobials with the ‘Plan Prevent Protect’ concept by monitoring, measuring, and managing antibiotic use within the practice and on farm.

Part of this responsibility is fulfilled by applying evidence-based principles of good communication with colleagues, farmers, and livestock-owner clients, but another part of this responsibility is to encourage others to sign up to become Farm Vet Champions or to support the Farm Vet Champion project.

We want to reach every farm veterinary professional, but we also recognise that there are many more members of the practice team (eg receptionists, practice managers, vet techs) who we’d love to have involved. Please think through all the people who make up your organisation and consider how much they might appreciate the opportunity to benefit from Farm Vet Champion materials.

We have provided some resources to help you promote the Farm Vet Champions platform. If you create your own ideas, please do share them with us.
