Got a question on QI? Agonising over audits? Then our team is here to help. 

Join QI Clinical Lead Pam Mosedale, who will be chatting all things audit with Amanda Curtis, Amelia Poole and Angela Rayner. They will be taking your questions and queries, as well as sharing exciting news about the QI Boxset. The event is free and will be taking place on Facebook, so be sure to register your interest in the event.

Pam Mosedale BVetMed FRCVS

Pam Mosedale

Pam is the Quality Improvement Clinical lead for RCVS Knowledge and Chair of the RCVS Knowledge Quality Improvement Advisory Board. Pam was Lead Assessor for the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme until very recently and has worked in first opinion practice for most of her career. Pam is also an SQP assessor for AMTRA; she edits the BSAVA Guide to the Use of Veterinary Medicines and organises the BSAVA Dispensing Course.

Amanda Curtis RVN BVNA(RR)

Amanda Curtis

Amanda qualified in 2012 and has worked in a variety of clinical settings. She is a VN educator at the University of South Wales and is studying towards her professional certificate in education.

Amanda writes for the ‘The Veterinary Nurse’ journal and sits on their editorial board, she has a passion for QI and EBVM, which she tries to embed into her teaching of SVNs, along with human factors and promoting positive practice cultures. Amanda is the BVNA regional representative for the South West Wales region and has lectured at the BVNA Congress, linking QI to wound management and infection control.

Amelia Poole DipAVN(SA) DipFB CertFN CertVN(ECC) RVN 

 

Amelia PooleAmelia is the Quality Improvement Project Manager at RCVS Knowledge. She is a Registered Veterinary Nurse who previous to this role worked in practice for 11 years. She worked at a variety of privately owned hospitals, as well as rescue centres, concentrating on intensive inpatient care. Amelia is responsible for the National Audits and Registries within RCVS Knowledge.
 
 

Angela Rayner BVM&S PgDipPSCHF MRCVS

Angela Rayner

Angie is a small animal GP vet, having graduated from the University of Edinburgh, and Director of Quality Improvement for CVS Group. She is also a member of the RCVS Knowledge Quality Improvement Advisory Board and Co-clinical Lead for their Antibiotic Stewardship Audit. In 2018, Angela began an MSc in Patient Safety and Clinical Human Factors at the University of Edinburgh. The programme supports healthcare professionals in using evidence-based tools and techniques to improve the reliability and safety of healthcare systems.
