The Clinical Audit Leadership Summit 2021 will be held in association with the Clinical Audit Support Centre and with support from RCVS Knowledge.
The summit will focus on Clinical Audit for Improvement with a particular emphasis on the development of effective local clinical audit leading to audit recommendations that change practice and improve patient care. Hot topic issues this year include: Clinical Audit Leadership and Career Development, Learning from Award Winning Clinical Audit and QI projects, Celebrating the way Clinical Audit Teams have managed the pandemic and implemented innovations.

Pam Mosedale will be providing a brief history of clinical audit in the veterinary profession, how vets are getting the most out of clinical audits through case studies and discussing what is next for clinical audit and the veterinary profession.

Pam is the QI Clinical Lead for RCVS Knowledge and Chair of the RCVS Knowledge Quality Improvement Advisory Board. Pam was Lead Assessor for the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme until very recently and has worked in first opinion practice for most of her career. Pam is also an SQP assessor for AMTRA; she edits the BSAVA Guide to the Use of Veterinary Medicines and organises the BSAVA Dispensing Course.
