Councils elections - ten-day countdown begins
22 April 2009
Just ten days remain in the 2009 RCVS and VN Councils elections, so if you are a veterinary surgeon or listed/registered veterinary nurse who has still to cast a vote, the clock is ticking.
If you remain undecided on whom to vote for, why not try to find out a little more about them by visiting one of the two online community websites we have teamed up with this year: vetsurgeon.org or vetnurse.co.uk?
You can go online to read more about the candidates, pose your own questions and read what others have to say.
There is also a case of champagne on offer (courtesy of the websites' editor) to the veterinary surgeon and veterinary nurse who starts a discussion that generates the greatest number of responses!
If you have forgotten to vote, misplaced your ballot paper, or simply not yet found the time, worry not, there is still chance to have your say. You can vote online, over the phone or by post, and duplicate ballot papers can be sent out on request.
Please view the elections pages for more details:
All votes must be received by Electoral Reform Services no later than 5pm on Friday, 1 May 2009.
