Come along to this information session where Fiona Lovatt, Farm Vet Champions Clinical Lead, will give an overview of how the Farm Vet Champions project can benefit you, your patients and your practice.
You will have the chance to ask any questions about Farm Vet Champions and wider relevant topics relating to how we use antibiotics on farms.
If you are involved in farm animal veterinary practice in any way, we can guarantee that there will be something in this session that will be directly applicable to you.
About Farm Vet Champions
Farm Vet Champions is a major collaborative project run by RCVS Knowledge to champion responsible antimicrobial use on farms. Farm Vet Champions can access 20 hours of free CPD on responsible antimicrobial use and set SMART goals to improve their antimicrobial stewardship.

Fiona Lovatt BVSc PhD FHEA DSHP DipECSRHM FRCVS
Fiona Lovatt is RCVS Knowledge’s Clinical Lead for Farm Vet Champions. Fiona runs the sheep veterinary consultancy business, Flock Health Ltd, which works with vets, sheep farmers, processors, retailers and pharmaceutical companies in the UK and abroad.
She is a past president of the Sheep Veterinary Society, Chair of the Sheep Antibiotic Guardian Group, a member of the RUMA Targets Task Force, and a clinical associate professor at the University of Nottingham.
As founder of the Flock Health Club concept, she is passionate about enthusing farm vets to actively engage with sheep farmers through principles that embrace best practice preventative measures and responsible medicine use.
