In response to requests from practitioners, we have announced the Evidence-Based Veterinary Medicine (EBVM) Skills Day, a one-day seminar offering essential tools to implement evidence-based principles in a busy veterinary practice.

Nearly 250 delegates from 15 countries attended the 1st International EBVM Network Conference which ran from 23-24 October at the Beaumont Estate in Windsor, UK. The event, organised by RCVS Knowledge, was the first official meeting of the EBVM Network and featured more than 50 talks on evidence-based veterinary practice.

Three posters displaying items from the RCVS archives were presented to the 41st Congress of the World Association for the History of Veterinary Medicine (WAHVM) this month, unveiling unique and previously unseen archive material concerning military veterinary history dating back to 1802.
