We are developing an open access, online evidence base for veterinary practitioners, after funding of £328,000 for the first two years of the project was approved by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), our main funding partner.
We are embarking on a 5 year project to catalogue and digitise priority pieces from our historic collections and make them available for free online, it was revealed on Wednesday at our annual Summer Reception at Belgravia House, London.
In response to requests from practitioners, we have announced the Evidence-Based Veterinary Medicine (EBVM) Skills Day, a one-day seminar offering essential tools to implement evidence-based principles in a busy veterinary practice.
Nearly 250 delegates from 15 countries attended the 1st International EBVM Network Conference which ran from 23-24 October at the Beaumont Estate in Windsor, UK. The event, organised by RCVS Knowledge, was the first official meeting of the EBVM Network and featured more than 50 talks on evidence-based veterinary practice.
