EBVM Success at VET2016

Veterinary Evidence Today 2016 was an unrivalled event in the veterinary calendar, where the international veterinary community met in the heart of beautiful Edinburgh to share progress and discuss the opportunities and challenges of applying evidence-based principles in practice. Our primary goal was to increase understanding of EBVM alongside other veterinary-relevant knowledge and to introduce and provide resources that will support your own contributions to EBVM.

Launch of RCVS Vet History - Archive Catalogue

RCVS Knowledge is pleased to announce the launch of a fantastic new way to access their unique veterinary history collections. From 7th November 2016, the new Archive catalogue is available to view online, with detailed descriptions of hundreds of items from the last 150 years.

The non-clinical benefits of EBVM

The implementation of evidence-based veterinary medicine (EBVM) is a challenge for those in general practice in the UK. The difficulties facing medical doctors when adopting evidence-based medicine are quite well documented, but the non-clinical benefits of EBVM are less well understood. The Royal Veterinary College is currently running two projects on the adoption of evidence-based veterinary medicine.
