RCVS Council elections 2004 - use your vote

Ballot papers for the 2004 RCVS Council elections have been posted to RCVS members today, along with the latest edition of RCVS News.

This year, there are 11 candidates standing for election - four (out of a possible six) of whom are hoping to be re-elected.

Although last year's returns did increase slightly to 16%, the turnout was still the second lowest recorded in the previous eight years.

Voting in the Council elections offers one of the best ways for members to influence the activities of the RCVS.

Members are urged to take a few minutes to read the candidates' manifestos and supporters' statements and then use their vote.
